Default villa rental for 2-3 days in Sept?

My sib and sil just emailed to tell me they are coming to Tampa for the Red Sox/Rays baseball series in mid September and would like to spend a "couple" of days visiting here. They asked about hotel choices, but I wonder if anyone rents out a villa for such a short stay? I couldn't find anything on the rental websites although I may have missed it. We are near Lake Sumter so somewhere near the middle of TV would be perfect. If you have something to offer either private message or reply in the thread. Thanks

If the homeowner charges a full cleaning fee for the short stay, one of the local hotels might wind up being more cost effective. Just a thought......

I have always been able to get great prices through Priceline at the local hotels. If you are going to be here 4 days you should consider a Lifestyle Preview.

For anything less then a week, stay at the Waterfront Inn. Nice hotel, walk to the square, maid service, dining room, bar, parking, and with a resident guest discount very reasonable. A home or villa rent with cleaning fee and rent will be a lot more for a short term stay. I would even do it for anything less then two weeks.
