They can build a new tunnel in just a couple weeks, but take 6 to 12 months maybe more to repair one. What will happen in 10 years when several tunnels need repairs?

Default Big crack.

Have you noticed how big the cement crack has gotten coming out of the North side of the Southern Trace/466 tunnel? I don't go that far very often but we went to Walmart last week and besides the increase in that crack I noticed cracks down the middle on each lane in all the tunnel entrances/exits on our journey. I always cringe when going under 466.

One reason it's taking so long is that they're trying to get the original construction company to make the repairs under warranty. There are also another 3-4 tunnels that may need work done on them.
