Thumbs up Homeowner's Insurance Recommendations

We hope to start contruction in Tamarind Grove by the end of September. I would appreciate any recommendations for homeowner's insurance companies. It would be nice if we could bundle our home, auto, and golf cart insurance under one company.

We currently have State Farm insurance, but I have read State Farm no longer writes homeowner's policy in Florida. Is this correct?

Thank you very much for your help,

Tamarind-John

Hi John, It looks like we'll be neighbors. We just bought a lot in Tamarind Grove. We are just starting to look into Homeowner's Insurance as well. We met with the Village's Insurance folks and their quote seems reasonable. One reason we will probably go with them is that they say they are nearly the only insurance company that will write a sinkhole rider. Not sure if this is true as I haven't had time to do my homework yet. I'm sure some of the knowlegable folks on here will have experiences to share.
