In some of my posts here I've asserted that regardless of what our politicians do or don't do, the financial markets will react to the facts, the real situation, and the results will be life-changing for us all. That is what this long video says, as well. It's not complicated and gives some very real suggestions. While it is NOT political or ideological the sposor of the video is clearly a conservative organization. But whether your leanings are progressive, centrist or far right, this video is worth watching.

The author of the book mentioned in this video is clearly a "bear" in his analysis of the situation and his predictions. There may be others, particularly our elected representatives, who will paint a more favorable picture of the future. Whether or not you completely embrace what this video says, it is well worth the time it takes to view.

The organization sponsoring this video is a right wing website/blog that also sells books and financial newsletters. It also advertises for companies selling gold, one of the many investment suggestions in the video. You don't have to buy them! But the message in the video is an important viewpoint that should be listened to. Remember, the video is NOT political or ideological.

Speaking for myself, I intend to get the book mentioned in the video and possibly subscribe to the newsletters.

This should be shown on late night tv.. maybe it is.. reminds me of info mercials I have seen. Funny thing is the number of "FREE" books remaining that shows up in the upper right hand corner.. the implication is .. hurry now.. they are going fast..

I agree with the point that the country is in SERIOUS financial problem.. but.. I wont be buying the book or getting the "free" one.

It IS an infomercial. I think I said that.

But more important, listen to what's being said by the economist being interviewed. It's a powerful...and scary...message. Something we all ought to think about as we watch Congress practice partisan politics instead of reaching a compromise in the interest of governing.

I did get the book.... I'm interested... I didn't say... I don't buy from Info mercials...

Thanks for the link, VK. Many people were ahead of the curve with the predictions of the housing bubble collapse, VK. Sadly, many people are also aware that we are still in a critical situation. The problem is, the people who should be aware of this have their heads stuck in the sand, their hands in my pockets and their voices campaigning for the 2012 election.

They are ALL on vacation!!! REALLY??? Sorry folks... but I think they need to get back here and clean this mess up!!!
