Not the right approach. I think he is a low life scum bag, but this is not the way to go about discrediting someone. I also find it distasteful to see Republicans attacking Republicans. Keep it up boys and its four more years with Obama. How blind can people be. You got to know that this puts a smile on the face of every democrat in Washington.

Calumny has replaced reticence in the political world and distracs from substantive issues. I hope and pray that both Democrats and Republicans admonish Ron Paul and his associate for this exercise in poor taste. As much as I wish Rick Perry ignore this I am afraid given who he is he will come back with a vengence....then another distraction from the imortant issues. The only positive is that if unfounded vet Perry pedigree that much more and reduces the likelihood of any further surprises should he gain in the polls. I simply do not recognize this as the country I grew up in anymore

This article says the purchaser of the ad is a supporter of Ron Paul. It says nothing about him being an "associate" of his, or even if he is on any kind of volunteer staff. This is a scurrilous act, but I don't see where Ron Paul has to even make a statement except to disavow any knowledge of this deviant's action. Maybe Ron Paul needs an order of protection.

VillagerII's remarks about Perry are also odious and uncalled for, if I'm to remain consistent.

Yeah, I thought the article was VERY poorly written.

I mean, I may not agree with Perry on a lot of stuff but COME ON.. What was this - a contest to see how much smear and guilt-by-association could be achieved with one single TROLL for scum?
