Our experience over the past two years has been so-so. Found nice people to leave the dog with, but not very consistent. Sometimes a good experience, but not always. Also, scheduling can be a problem for the more popular sitters. We have had better luck at Bone Crazy on 466a. Very consistent, and always a good experience. Rarely gets crated, and never balks at getting dropped off. Longest we have left him was 7 weeks. Very reasonable prices.

We have been very satisfied with "Away from Home Pet Services". We have used this pet sitting service since Dec 09 for our dog. She has stayed with them for as little as a day and up to ten days. She has always been treated as a member of the family to include sleeping in their bed. They only sit one dog at a time and it is $25 a day and well worth it. We are super comfortable with this service and although we miss her when we travel we know she is in good hands.

rdhdleo,

Away from Home Pet Services is run by Kim Peters. Her number is 352-454-2623. Several women throughout The Villages work for her. She schedules your pet with one of these women. She will gladly have you and your pet meet with the sitter prior to confirming arrangements. We have always been satisfied. We have left our dog at a sitters as short as one day and as long as eleven days. She also advertises in The Daily Sun.

Wink

Have had a consistently great experience with Jan Greiner Snow who takes dogs in her home. She is reliable and treats the pets as her own. Takes on golf cart rides, walks, and pampers. I was more than satisfied with her services. Dog loved it when dropped off at her home. Actually made me feel bad that I wasn't missed so much!
