Default O'Donnell at The Villages

Christine O'Donnell got a cool reception at Barnes & Noble yesterday for her book signing. Less than a dozen people were there for her book. I am glad to see that The Villagers did not fall into her plan of selling lots of books in this bastion of conservatives.

Although I am hardly a conservative, this is very encouraging news!

Perhaps with the current regime in the White House, people are just spending their money on necessities.

It is merely the refreshing confirmation that common sense prevails obviating the need for an R or a D to reach a conclusion....eh?

Yea, but the timing was terrible, with the stock market tanking the last few weeks. I have done some amateur tracking in the past, and have found that people do not spend as much as when the market is doing well. Maybe a mental thing.

Baloney. A $23 book is not going to break anyone in The Villages. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. (Sigmund Freud..look it up.)

Glad you got down there to check on the turnout, Buggy. You've got to let me see the signed copy of her book the next time I see you.

You would be surprised. I know many people will not go out to eat without coupons or early bird special.

Well, in his case a cigar wasn't just a cigar.
