This is a very good Obama-dept analysis, best I've seen to date.

Hmmmmm Off topic and personal attack. Well, since you have wandered off the proverbial bath, it would be wise to remember that your favored status might be void with a new ownership.

Default Another way of looking at our debt

Another perspective

Brief analysis why we need the Congress to change.

Why the US Was Downgraded

Pretty good explanation for those that do NOT see a problem with the United States' finances or have a hard time grasping the big numbers.
The five lines below tells us where U.S. financial woes come from.

Analogy for those that felt the S&P was too strict and out of line.....

Why the US was downgraded...

. U.S. Tax revenue: $2,170,000,000,000
. Fed budget: $3,820,000,000,000
. New debt: $ 1,650,000,000,000
. National debt: $14,271,000,000,000
. Recent budget cut: $ 38,500,000,000

Let's remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget:

. Annual family income: $21,700.
. Money the family spent: $38,200.
. New debt on the credit card: $16,500.
. Outstanding balance on the credit card: $142,710
. Total budget cuts: $385.

This makes it very clear!

Yea, we did about 4 holes and then rain showers. But it is great this time of the year, I get on the course every day. Not looking forward to the snowbird's return.

Got all nine holes in at Truman at 12:45. Rain must have just targeted you
My cable was down temporarily and I just saw this, and I have to say, I love it. It's great when facts are presented in a way that even the brain dead could understand. (No, I'm not talking about myself) It's too bad that those without an answer tend to malign the author, but I'm sure you're used to it by now. Nice find Villagegolfer.

Thanks Richie,

Yea, they try to tear you down, but I try to keep focused. Some people do not comprehend facts but love slogans like "Hope and Change"

Well, lately there has been little hope and I do not like the change.
