Question Hot tub dealers????

I'm thinking of getting a hot tub for my patio. I have a ThermoSpa here in Maine and, while they make a very good product, I don't want another as the service is poor and everything is very expensive.

I'd love to hear from fellow TV'ers about hot tub dealers who have sold and serviced tubs here in TV.

Post here or send me a PM.

Thanks much.

Default

We bought ours from Spa Kingdom. They are located just south of Lady Lake on Rt 441. Never had a problem with it until after about 8 years when one of the pumps froze up. They came right out and replaced it. Their service is very good, will do everything from just testing your water to full service. Having said that, and this is just a personal opinion... I am from upstate NY and we used our outside hottub year round. We bought ours right after moving in down here in TV. We have found that we don't use it very much, especially during the summer months. Others may use theirs all the time, but we found it is just not refreshing. If I knew then what I know now, we wouldn't have bought it.

Default Softub

Take a look at the Softub brand. There's a dealer on 441, I think. I have had one for 7 years in my finished basement here in Massachusetts. It plugs into a 110 line and adds less than $10/month in electricity costs. It has a snug cover so it does not add humidity to the basement.
