Default Outdoor hot tub spa

Do you make use of your outdoor hot tub in TV?

We had an out door hot tub in upstate NY and used it all the time, even in the winter when we had to shovel 3' of snow to get to it. We bought one when we moved here and we find that was a mistake. We seldom use our spa down here as it is usually too warm and the spa is not refreshing, at least to us. IMHO.

We don't use ours as much in the summer, but do keep it set at 88 degrees and enjoy it on hot days. In the cooler months I would regret not having a hot tub.

We are from upstate ny also and found that in the summer if you turn the temp down to 90, it refreshing, more so than a swimming pool especially with the jets

My spouse uses ours daily, even in the summer, though we keep the temperature turned down. In the winter we both use it quite a lot. We are both active, athletic types, so it's really nice when you have sore muscles, etc., or need to loosen up before a workout.

That's how we use ours... We use ours more in the summer as a not hot hot tub then we do in the winter!

I shut mine down in the summer, but use it just about every night in the winter. Keep the temp. at 102 which is perfect for sore muscles. Wife goes in about 2 times a week, but complains water is too hot. Would get rid of my wife before the hot tub.

Bought in 2006 and liked all but the spa but it came with the house. We do not use the spa. I want to yank it and redo my birdcage and lanai. My wife does not. We have once again compromised and did her way. I threatened to convert it to a fish pond someday soon

Default Swim spas

Anybody have a swim spa? do you like it? we really don't want a big pool and hot tub, so we thought the swim spa would work for both. Connie
