Default Cable TV

Sorry folks, if this has already been discussed elsewhere. Who is the cable provider in TV, or is there more than one?

Thanks in advance.

Comcast is it for cable. Search this forum for Comcast and you'll see lots of discussions and complaints.

I wonder if anyone in TV has had any positive/good experience with Comcast? I've only experienced Comcast up here in Chicago, and I have to say that in the 9 years since they have taken over from the previous cable TV owner that I have had pretty good service. Since I don't have good southern exposure on my townhouse, I've been told a satellite dish probably wouldn't work for me, and in my homeowner's assn. we are very limited in where satellite dishes can be placed, so Comcast has pretty much been my own option until AT&T U-Verse stepped into the Chicago market about 2 yrs. ago. I guess I'm just too busy at work to research my options besides Comcast for cable/internet here in Chicago.

The home I rented in Chatham in July had Comcast, but I was only there for 7 days, so that's not a good way to measure Comcast's service. If anyone in TV has had good experience with Comcast, that would be good to hear.

I have no problem with Comcast reception, it is just that the prices go up several times a year. And now, $2 a month extra for each tv with no black box. They just raise $2 here, $5 there, and with what you add, $200 a month is here in no time. That is for tv, cable, and internet.
