Default Tell Bill Nelson to start with

I just emailed Bill Nelson and told him that with the low approval rate and the problems with Obama the dem. party should ask him to step down from seeking reelection. If you feel this way start emailing your congressman and tell them the same. I know a lot of the emails never see the light of day but if enough people do, the message will get across to someone. Thats for the people that dont want him in,best idea I can come with at this point. Still a free country just do it.

I wish Hillary would run. But the party "put her in her place" in 2008. It stunk.

Yes, but cojones didn't count. The "special interests" she mentions at the end of this are what counted.....

Politicians will be politicans. Did you believe that Obama did not know the position his minister had on various issues after knowing him for 20 plus years? Cojones always count.

It's never been accomplished before to have an incumbent step down for political reasons by his own party, and I seriously doubt the success of such an effort now.

As the de facto head of his party there won't be a serious challenge to his position from any party leadership. There are good Democrat possibilities, but that'll have to wait until 2016, I believe.

The only thing close would be LBJ? Talk about a political animal.

It depends on whether you're using the literal meaning of cojones (the prerequisite genitalia), or the figurative meaning (the guts to say it like it is).

Hillary has guts. Obama has male gender, but his race is what mattered more.

Raising up a nominee because of his race is just as bad as refusing to vote for him because of it.

The new governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, is setting himself up real nice to be a serious contender for higher office. He is one Democrat who seems like he could siphon many votes from a Republican challenger with his fiscal awareness and his seemingly centrist social issues stance. My prediction is to keep your eyes on this guy, especially if Obama does lose in '12.

It was kind of tongue in cheek. RE Hilary, I meant guts.

He has unflinching and ardent support by most all the liberal members of this forum. Why would it be different in the real world?
