Default Cleaning Granite

Anyone have suggestions as to what is good to use on Granite countertops to keep them clean and also shiny. I like for them to look good, but I don't want to spend too much time on this.
Thanks.

Once a month I use a good car wax/cleaner on my granite; then I use a clean sponge with water only to wipe up spills and stuff. While the granite is still wet wipe dry with a clean paper towel.

Default Hope's Perfect Glass

At Bed Bath and Beyond, or Lowe's..not at Home Depot. I use it on granite,
mirrors, glass doors, picture glass, shower. Love it...I buy four at a time!!!!
Next to Magic Eraser, my favorite new product in 5 years. Hope's also sells
a Stainless cleaner that is fabulous. I think the advertising is all word of mouth. Simply great with their Perfect Glass.

Dawn dishwashing liquid .

Use a clean cloth and wipe off granite with this soap and water solution and dry with a clean cloth.

We have had granite for a LONG time in Cincinnati and never used anything but soap and water. It maintains the shine. I cut on a cutting board.

Agree with Gracie, soap and water. Perfect Glass works and so does a wipe product called "Granite Wipes" Not sure about car wax, first I have heard that. I would ask a granite company before trying that. Granite is porous and I would be concerned about wax build up in those place where it is not perfectly smooth.

I use 409 Natural Stone Cleaner....a clear spray. Cleans and doesn't leave streaks. For a really nice shine, I then use Orange Clean Pledge. Works like a charm.

Welcome Home....ENJOY!
