Default Closing Date

We have a closing date of October 4th. Plus a back-up offer. We only had to wait 10 months. We are coming in October to buy a spec home or a lot to build on. We are so elated, I'm smiling, dancing and can hardly wait to be in The Villages.

Thank you for your support and encouragement.

See you soon.

Congratulations on selling.

Have you considered a re-sale home in The Villages? Lots of good reasons to do a re-sale instead of new. The re-sale is negotiable in price with the seller; new homes are not negotiable. Re-sales have much less bond payment; mine was $2,300 as compared to $25,000 and up to $50,000 bond for a new house. No construction going on around you (nails in your car tires are very common in new villages), mature landscaping, upgrades already in the house instead of paying for upgrades and you see the neighborhood already complete.

There are a couple of beautiful designer Lantana homes for sale right now on Talley Ridge Drive on a golf course with a water view. They are being sold by The Villages Properties. Check them out.

I would also recommend having a Villages agent as well as a MLS agent from outside The Villages. Neither can show each others properties within The Villages. It is good to see all available. New homes are only sold by The Villages Properties - at full price.

Congrats to you!! We close Oct 3rd but have been waiting since offer signed on 6/3. Found the time to be valuable, though. Have our lot in Sanibel and hope to be signed up for home by 10/15! We'll look for you wandering around Sanibel???!

The only thing wrong with it is that the frog will disappear while it's out playing golf with Jeanette!
