Well, you will get a lot of recommendations, as everyone seems to thinke their rep was/is the best. We found Lyle Gant's website, through TOTV some time ago and found it very helpful, not only in monitoring listings, but in providing information about TV. We looked at property with Lyle and Tony Trussler of the Villages when we were in TV and found both to be helpful, low key, and competent. Lyle sends us links to new listings and price changes whenever they occur in homes that meet our perameters, usually at least once or twice each week. you can access his website at lylesellsfla.com Good luck and hope to see you in lower paradise.

jack - i like the lyle gant website because each of the listings indicates how many days a property has been on the market along with any price changes - and that can be good info when deciding about what kind of offer to consider making.

Another vote for Marge and Karol - I worked with Karol and was pleased with her follow-up after contract was signed.

Thanks all. Have seen some of these folks. Will continue to investigate.

Just a little daunting, with only one week, you want to make sure you are dealing with the best folks.

Thanks for your help, keep any experiences coming....

jack_pine. Good luck to you in your home search. Please post your home search experiences if you wish to share them. I'm a wannabee, but someday I hope I will be in your shoes as "ready to buy."

Will do. Have posted sparingly as we research. Will give full experience as we live it.
