I had the privilege of meeting Michelle before President Obama decided to run. It was at a luncheon in Springfield, Illinois, and I was blown away with her intelligence, humanity, and humility. Wearing a flag on my lapel does not make me more or less in love with my country. Anyone can do that for the outside world to see, it is what is in our hearts that matters. Hopefully not getting too far off this thread, I think we can think of flag wavers who really don't have the best interests of our country at heart.

We aren't talking about what she wears on her lapel. It's been said, "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." I'm pretty sure that she has made what is in her heart clear by what has come out of her mouth...on more than one occasion.
