Welcome back President Obama.

It is too bad that Gov. Christie decided not to run for President. It was the only hope that the G.O.P. had and now they are left with???

You may be right. Romney is a possibility, but not likely to win. The GOP has qualified people out their, but when they come up with front runners like Perry, they cannot be take seriously. Oh well, maybe Obama will get more done in his second term.

Carrot Top could beat Obama with these scandals and the economy. Hope and Change will not work this time. He now has a record to run on. A terrible record.

You may be right. Lets hope that Romney is the GOP pick. If anyone of the group has a chance, it Mitt. I could vote for Romney.

Yes, the GOP Great Fat Hope decided not to run and it now looks like a sure thing that President Obama will get re-elected. I'm happy - and I am sure one of the great minds at the local watering hole is glad he did not take my bet a couple of weeks ago.

And their qualifications are so inferior to Obama's when he was a candidate?

He has established that one can run and win, at least once, with just making promises and telling folks what they want to hear. Hence the field is wide open with many who can talk and promise as well or better than he did.

The last three years sure are a testimony to promises kept....eh?

Default Can't Win

Neither Romney or Christie can won because they would cannot get the support of the Tea Party. Unless you agree with them 101 percent they will not let you be a candidate.

Mainstream American voters will not vote for Ron Paul no matter who he is the ticket with either as the presidential candidate or the vice-presidential candidate.

I do like Herman Cain. He has some excellent ideas - but he could never get them through Congress no matter which party is controlling Congress. Cain is an excellent businessman but that is not how Washington runs. He would be out of his element as President or VP.

Goodbye Republicans for another 4 years. The Tea Party has hurt the Republicans fatally.

it will not be the tea party that elected the next president. It will be the independence.

Romney has the experience in saving failing economic interests. It also saved the Olympics. He may not be as conservative as some tea partiers are right wingers like but, would you rather bite the bullet on social issues are half or more years of Barack Hussein Obama.

I can actually see a schism happening here. It looks as though the Republicans are going to run Romney and someone like him. The Tea Party will endorse an extremist ticket like Paul and Palin. The Democrats win even bigger than expected for at least 4 more years!!

Romney against hopey changey. No contest. We will finally get this bum out of the White House and also take the Senate. America will begin to heal and prosper again. It will take awhile to get going again after all the damage that Obama and company have instilled upon us, but America will prevail again.

It's amazing the fantastical scenarios and ludicrous assumptions being made on this thread. I cannot possibly stop laughing long enough to refute them. Besides, judging by what I'm reading, what would be the point.

Have a ball here is this funhouse thread. Let me know when you need clarity.
