Default Sunshine State? Hmmmmm

Hahaha, when Miss Sam and I motored down from Crystal River it was the first cloudy/rainy day since we started our Fabulous Florida Vacation a week ago. When we arrived at TV it was OK but we didn't get the pop that I guess most would get on a sunny day. We arrived at the sales place and met Ron Delk (he lives in TV) and took off for the tour. East side, West side, all around the town. Great guy. Took us up to Historic District, and anywhere we wanted. Miss Sam and I liked the Taramand ??? place, very nice. Lot's of options. We met our friends and BIL/SIL at Cody's. That was really fine, 2 for 1 etc. The prime rib/coconut shrimp combo is good, very good and reasonable. After that we went back to the WFI and had cocktails in the lounge. That was hohum until The Lacroixs started to play. Great stuff, 2 old troopers singing, playing etc. What a time. Back to home hunting. The TV guys can show any Listing, some folks say they can't, bull****. They just call the listing agent first. We want a new CYV. Oh and yes, they must be serving the Kool Aid somewhere along the line cause our next move is a Lifestyle Thingy. Well sell home in Virginia too, hahaha. Does the sun shine every now and again

Ron was our agent also, he is a great guy and NO hard sell. He never called us, we did all the contacting. Found the right place at the right price. Good luck.

Not taking away from Ron, but Jim McLaughlin is our agent, sold us TWO homes. Pretty much, all of them are nice people and all of them are not hard sell. They don't need a hard sell. We, the people of The Villages, sell the homes and this place for them. No...I don't work for the developer.

I am so happy to hear that you like our place, Posh. I knew you would. Even on a rainy day, this is a little slice of heaven.

Welcome and hugs.

Yesterday was cloudy, wet, and overcast all day and it looks like today is shaping up to be the same. It has been ages since we’ve had an entire day without some sunshine, much less two days in a row.

It never rains in Florida. That is just liquid sunshine to make things greener.

Hey, what's a little rain in a place like TV, a place that has it all. The only thing missing is snow!

Seriously Posh, have a safe trip back north!

The Villages Florida

Thanks guy, the rain kept people from being out playing. I wanted to see people play. Next time.

Saw the whole cloud covering all of Florida on the weather map. Sunshine State is up North today and very pleasant. For the first time I didn't long for TV. Wonder what you guys do when it's raining hard all day.

What we do is revel in the fact that we won't have to wait until June 2012 for a break in the cloud cover and to see the sun again, as we did in the Great Lakes region.

By Tuesday we'll have summer again, but cooler than July-August!

Default On this rainy afternoon.......

We hung pictures and reshelved another closet.

Hung some creepy Halloween decorations outside. Put on a chuck roast with vegetables to cook slow all afternoon. Looking forward to Trivia at Canal tonight with folks I like a whole bunch.

Snuggling into a building that now feels so like HOME!!

We did get a nice walk around market square before the heavy rains. Very nice but I wish we were there to close on a house. Drive to sanford was no picnic in the rain. Those round about things are my least favorite thingabout tv. Gonna take some practice.
