Default Banfield Vet Service @ Pet Smart

I have no problem with the vet service, Banfield, at Pet Smart with our dogs med treatment. However, when ordering meds from the i-net and the company faxes a script request to Banfield you better follow up on it. I received a call from the company that Banfield had failed not once but 3 times to fax a script to them. I called Banfield and was given the run around and politely requested them to get off their dead azz and fax the script. Confirmation received via i-net 2 days later that meds were on there way. Ok I'm done.

I was just going to start a thread on ordering Pet Meds from Internet websites. So this is very timely. For the past couple of years, I've been using www.1800pedmeds.com for heartworm medication for my dogs (the Vet faxed the prescription, no problem).

I'm wondering if anyone has found any better Pet Med websites.

Default one horror story

I had ordered a flea and tick medication from petmeds. For some reason I took the package to my vet when it was time for my dog's shots so I could get some more. My vet. Went. Off the deep end! He wanted to know where I got it and I told him on the internet from petmeds. He said didn't I know there was not a vet there. The package was meant to be sold in Australia and not regulated by FDA. He wanted my receipt so he could turn them in. He called me twice at home. I finally switched vets!

I have used EntirelyPets for the past 2 years. I always compare the prices and find them better then 1800petmeds and others. Sometimes Petco has good sales.

Back in MA, I used to shop online for the best price on any meds needed, print it out on the day of my vet appt. and the vets office would match it. 1800petmeds was usually the best.

I checked out Entirely Pets, however they don't carry Revolution Heartworm.
I've had good luck with 1800PetMeds, and they email me discount coupons. Guess I'll continue to hang my hat there.

We use 1800PetMeds also. Never had a problem with any of their products and much cheaper than the Vet.
