Default Kayaking in November

Hoping to do some kayaking but can't bring mine with me. Is there a place to rent and any idea of cost. Noticed in Oct calendar "kayak on the lake" any info would be appreciated.Staying for the 1st time nov 15-dec15. thx Cate

We just had a lesson this a.m. It was such fun. You can join discoverykayak.com on any of their excursions. If you look at the website you'll see a calendar of events for October to get an idea of the kinds of places they go. They furnish all the equipment...all you have to do is reserve and show up.

Also check out the Marion County parks website - do a search. Neighbors told me they did a great, and inexpensive, learn to kayak class they enjoyed very much.

We have used Kayaks & Beyond and Aardvark Kayak, both in Crystal River and both have rentals. We recommend both equally. You can kayak from Kayak& Beyonds dock and Aardvark will bring your boat to the water launch which is close-by.
