Default Whirlwind Summer

What a summer! Wife and I put Indiana home up for sale jun 9 sold on July 8. Rented a Villa for Oct 1 for 3 months. Closed Indiana home Sept 21 put all worldly goods in storage. Arrived in Villages Oct 1 started looking at pre owned, new homes and Open houses at rate of 2-8 each day.
On 10/18 put money down on our Tamarind Grove new home. Close on Nov 18.

We are beat, stressed, spending money faster than it ever came in. But enjoying every minute of it. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

We are going to try and make Crispers on Friday to meet some of the major
Influences I have read and been influenced by.

Oh my what have we done??

You have done the best thing you could ever do. And you are right...the money seems to leave in droves...LOL. Everything is in multiples of $1000...but you have gotten to the point in your life where you do for YOU!!!

Welcome, I live in Southern Star Villas. If you play softball we hopefully will have a Tamarind Grove team come next January. Currently I'm playing for Calumet Grove since they are shorthanded and we are without a team.

It will take you three weeks to get evaluated before you are allowed to play, everybody has to go through that. I believe we have a manager now and I just got an email tonight that he is trying to put together a team. Neighborhood teams are good because they only play on Saturdays, that way I can still golf 2 or 3 days during the week. Also, they only use aluminum bats and not the more dangerous miken bats.

What you have done is:

You have given yourself the best present you will ever receive. After all the initial activity,

I'm sure it will all fall into place and you can start enjoying paradise.

From all the active posts from the residents of Tamarind Grove on TOTV, you landed on one of the most active Village it seems. Congratulations! Saw the picture of the Vette. Don't know if there is a Corvette Club but I know there is an active convertible club.
