Smile All Coming Together!

Well, selected a new home recently, signed the papers, took out the insurance, contracted a lawn guy, set up the electric account, ordered some furniture, sent the closing papers, etc, etc...; will travel to pick-up the keys in a couple of months; Tamarind Grove here we come!
I know these are just a few things we need to do but I think we are off to a good start. Can anyone tell me what forum and page I can find the "nuts & bolts" string on? I saw it a few months ago and have not been able to find it since. I was a bit disappointed to see on a blog today that it can take a few weeks to take delivery of a golf car from The Villages Car Store (no WEB sire / can't pre-order / Oh well).
We have learned so much from the forums offered here; very valuable to any new or prospective Villager; thank you all so much for sharing - God Bless you!
BLUF: We are so excited about becoming 'Villagers" I can't express the joy!

Select "Talk of the Villages Forums.

Under "Talk of Villages News", at the bottom of page.

"Nuts and Bolts" section is the next to last item.

Hey BJ:

This is "BJ".

My last name couldn't be pronounced correctly by some people, so it became known in some circles as "BJ".

Default Ooops - BJ !

BJ,
Did not intend to impinge on your handle turf; guess I'll stick with B. Johnson for the threads! Hey remember the old comedy routine ( I believe it was on the Red Skelton show) where the guy ( Mr. Johnson) said to Red when he called him Mr. Johnson; "now you can call me Jay and you can call me Ray, and you can call me Jonny and you can call me Sunny; BUT YOU DOSENT HAVE TO CALL ME JOHNSON! Guess I just had a brain fart!
Anyway thanks for your post. - B. Johnson

Though it may take few weeks to get golf cart, most of the dealers provide you with a rental until yours is ready ! No extras included (sunbrella encclosure) but it's transportation to explore your new surroundings !

About the only reason I can think of that it would take 3 weeks to get a golf cart is if you ordered something very unusual. They have most everything in stock except the upgraded seats. I believe that if you ordered one and wanted it when you get here, they would let you have it with the stock seats and just switch them when the new ones come in. Do you have the phone number for The Villages Golf Cart store? PM me if you would like it.
