Saw the 1st infomercial this morning. Now you plug into your modem or router so don't need PC on to use. $69 includes fist year usage.
It may be worth it. Any one usnig the new Magicjack plus? I had original magicjack for a year and used it as a toy but it worked. Liked it when travelling... |

I have been using the older version of Magic Jack for 5+ years with very few issues. You do have to leave the computer on 24-7.

I have been using the Plus for about a month now. Works great, no need to have it plugged into a computer etc. They will send you one for 30 days before they will charge you for it. You can try it and if you don't like it, just send it back.

Hi Pauld315,
I just received my Magic Jack Plus and am a little gun shy on installing the unit. I currently have the triple play with Comcast and want to drop the phone service. Is it possible to install my mjp with the phone # from comcast and then call comcast and cancel the phone line? Will this interfere with the internet and tv part of the service? I am a bit of novice and don't want to create more problems, any input from you or others would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jack ![]() |
