Default Freshwater Fishing Club Meets Tue Nov 8

TV Freshwater Fishing Club meets on Tue Nov 8 at 7 PM at Lake Miona Rec Center. Come 45 min early and share your angling adventures with others.

Hear fishing results from several lakes surrounding The Villages and baits used by our own members to catch bass, specks, brim....

Evening speaker will be Marty Hale, Regional Fisheries Administrator Division of Freshwater Fisheries, discussing Lake Weir bass population, the fish attractor program in Lake Weir, and accessing the ponds in the Ocala National Forest.

You want to go fishing? See Steve Felix on Novembers lake outing and schedule. He plans a trip each month. Pontoon boats or 2 man jon boats with outboard.

If group activity is not your niche - how about a guide? There's several professional guides available to take you and a guest if you so desire.

Attendees must be a resident or registered guest of The Villages.

Default Come Join Us

So it's now dark by 6:15 PM. What a better way to spend an evening than with a group of anglers. Come listen to a speaker and get tips on where the big ones, and not so big ones, are biting. But they are biting.

Nov 8th
Tuesday
Lake Miona Rec Ctr
Doors open at 6 PM
Meeting starts at 7 PM

And some advice - Don't let the wind bother you especially if you're' pond fishing. This week has been successful for bass anglers within TV.
