Default New Club Idea - Shooting

There are several sporting clubs, fresh water fishing, salt water fishing, trap and Skeet but no pistol shooting clubs.

Would there be any interest in forming a competitive/non-competitive pistol shooting club. There could be IPSI, USAPCA, IDPA and bullseye. At our first meeting all these different shooting venues could be discussed and see which ones everyone would like to try or do. There are already several Cowboy Action Clubs in the local area but none on the Villages.

You can google the initials about the different clubs and see what each offers.

If there is enough interest we could contact one of the ranges in the local area and see if that range would be interested in hosting our club. There could be matches scheduled during the week so that we don't interfer with the weekend shoots at the hosting club.

If you are interest please drop me a PM with a way to contact you and if enough are interested we can have an initial meeting and see if enough are interested in making it official and have scheduled meetings and shoots.

Thanks to reading this post.

Count me in... Haven't finished unpacking yet, but sent for the paperwork to get my Massachusetts LTC transferred to Florida. It'll be a few weeks before I am ready to find a local range/club.
