Do you like to entertain? If so, small or large groups, informal or more formal? I love to entertain, anything from small intimate groups (get to actually use the china and silver) to large, friendly get togethers with anything from appetizers to a full meal. My style is to get everyone comfortable with whatever they need...after that...you're on your own...there's the fridge! (I will watch to make sure everyone is taken care of but I don't hover, I'm too busy enjoying my guests). There are many people that are terrified at the thought of putting on a gathering and that's ok...come on over!

I enjoy having people over. It pushes me to "get things done" in the house. I put lots of stress on myself before the event to make sure everything is perfect (in my mind) but in the end I seem to be the only one who really cared. I usually end up having larger events maybe so I can lose myself in the process.

Yes, I love to entertain and have done all size groups, small and large. I have done it all from cooking everything myself, to having it catered and having people bring a dish to pass. Although, I never feel right asking people to bring a dish, but my energy level is not what it once was.

I don't have many gatherings in the winter anymore but love to do BBQ's in the summer. My husband will work the grill while I work the kitchen. Most of the time everything is made from scratch including the barbecue sauce. We don't much care for store bought appetizers or summer salads. Besides my hummus, guacamole, salsa, potato salad, etc is 100 times better than most stores. It's a lot of work, but worth it and guest really enjoy it.

One of my concerns is, when we get to TV we won't have any friends to socialize with so we will have to move about TV quickly making friends.

I'm pretty good with a can of Cheese Whiz and a box of Ritz crackers!

Do you serve beer with that or wine coolers?

I'll be your friend especially if you feed me.

Seriously, you won't have any trouble making friends.

First...thanks Tippy!! When are we getting together again??? and Carguys...when Steve and I first met, we were discussing music and what type we liked...we both said that we weren't crazy about country except for one song...and you guessed it!!! I will be more than happy to be in charge (as long as I don't have to act like I'm in charge)

I think a holiday cocktail together would be wonderful!!!! You contact the other ladies. Perhaps we could do the mexican restaurant on Woodward this time? Let's get the husbands involved too. We don't have any open weekends so it would have to be a week night or Sunday.

It's 6 in the morning, The days have turned into weeks, Breakfast will be later it's time to ride.

Destination somewhere West. The Harley awaits. The tour packs are loaded wife and I saddle up and with a filp of a switch 110 cubes come to life.

On the road again wind in our face. sights and smells feeling much more alive than the masses passing us crammed into their blow molded plastic BOX's called cars-

Up to freeway speed. Set the cruise and turn on the CD- Crank up the radio Song selection ---Aerosmith- Amazing! because it is!

My kind of party-

Would you mind sharing your jerk chicken recipe? I bought a jar of Walkerswood Traditional Jamaican Jerk seasoning recently in Jamaica, but now, I don't know what to do with it.
