Default Alamanda home model questions

Can anyone tell me if you can have a walkin shower in the Alamanda? Does one have to streach the house for it? If you have this model, can you please tell me what you do and don't like about it? I love the huge counter in the kitchen and that is important for me to have work space in the kitchen.

Thenks folks!!!!

We purchased our Allamanda almost a year ago. We do not have a walk in shower in our master bath and our home is not stretched. I believe I have seen the Allamanda model with a golf cart garage. Even if this was an option for us, we would not have chosen to add a golf car garage. Keep in mind that our house was a spec house already built, so adding options were not available to us.

What we liked most about this Designer series was the open area and kitchen area. Having a Florida room was also a must have for my wife.

The price point for the Allamanda was attractive for us because we are snow birds and always felt that if we wanted to move up to a larger style house, we could do so.

What I'm not crazy about is the front landscaping ( we have a meeting with the Villages Palm next week to discuss design options for the landscaping.) I also wish we had a larger lanai.

For us, this style meets all of our needs. If we decided to move here permanently, we would upgrade to a larger Designer to get those things I mentioned above. One thing that would make it challenging for us to move is that our neighbors could not be any better. We truly believe we hit the jackpot with the neighbors we have.

Best of Luck!
