Default Big Change in Political Talk Room

Has anyone else besides me noticed a big change in the make-up of the usual posters in this room? It seems as though in the past 2 months that the uber-conservatives have lost several of their usual contributers and baiters.

It also seems there are now some newer liberal or middle-of-the-road posters that like to post here. Definitely it is a good change.

Welcome to all, of course, and friendly discord brings about healthy viewpoints to be read by all.

Default the conservatives

the conservatives like me are busy working for our primary because the deadline to register to vote is jan 3 in florida....there is no sense wasting energy arguing with people who will never agree with us....we must get out there and win the vote to change this country and bring it back to its original greatness....and we ARE the majority, silent no longer.....

Thanks for the reply, Chachacha. Always good to hear from you. Which one of the tea party darlings are you supporting or is it the "anyone except President Obama"?

some may be simply looking for a more fact/issue based discussion forum where an R or D is not hammered 24/7.

Your statement "and we ARE the majority" is totally wrong if you're talking about Florida. As of Dec 5, 2011 (the latest figures) there are 523,567 more registered democrats than republicans in the state. Of course the republican numbers may spike up this month as thousands of democrats, like myself, switch parties so they can vote in the primary on Jan 31, 2012. But I guarantee you I will be a democrat again of Feb 1, 2012.

To read all about it go to www.registration.elections.myflorida.com

What a surprise.

Won't help. Obama and his merry band of leftists are a total and complete failure. Freedom loving Americans know that. On the other hand, if you are anti-private sector, pro centralized government control I guess you could call him a resounding success.

No matter our nominee, Obama will loose. He's a one term disaster. Bookmark it.

Don't think I will bet my 401K on that statement.

Like I said, bookmark it. We'll finish what we started last Nov 2010. Remember?

How "loose" do you think he'll be?

This thread started by my buddy Buggy is just a "bait"; isn't it. Are you sitting there chuckling to yourself Bugs?

Maybe if you actually composed a thread that promoted thoughtful debate you would get more replies.

And three fingers of Makers.

I beat Pelican today and will have a nice evening on the porch (northern word) enjoying this cool weather. Life is good.
