Default Romney - Day One, Job One plan for 1st day in office...What do you think?

Just saw that Gingrich as slipped in the Iowa polls below Paul. In the end I think the nominee will be Romney.

Here's his Day One, Job One plan for first days in office. Which points do you think are best and worst?

Really, it does not matter what Romney says he will do as soon as he is sworn into office - because he will not be elected.

Chances are that the Republicans will team him up with some reactionary candidate for VP (like with Palin in 2008) and that will be their downfall once again.

I like it very much and it's a great start on what's needed.

(Purposely ignoring my good buddy Buggy's biased and unrealistic comments which are not rooted in the political realities of today. Come to the present, Buggy)

Also, if ijustluvit is reading this; this would begin an immediate economic surge with the ending of the most egregious of Obama's economy stifling regulations of which you were asking me about in another thread.

Ok, I'll bite.

The Five Bills for Day One? I like them.

The Five Executive Orders? Just a few quibbles.

Obamacare: Does that include rescinding the law that allows parents to cover their kids to age 26?

Red Tape: Why limit it to "Obama-era" regulations?

American Business and Workers: The "use union labor" directive pre-date Obama by a LONG shot. Heck, I've heard arguments concerning "prevailing wage" doctrines going all the way back to the 1970s.

Chances of Romney winning the R nomination - 68.7%
Chances of Gingrich winning the R nomination - 8.1%
Chances of Paul winning the R nomination - 8.4%

Chance of Obama winning reelection - 50.5%
