I hope Jon Stewart sees this one. Have to have a sense of humor when coming across something like this.
Homeland Security doing training at the Leesburg Social Secuirty Office with at least one semi-automatic weapon and a K9 unit.

Lots of people show up at these offices who are not the average senior citizen who worked and paid into Soc. Sec. for the last 50 years.

I wonder who would be at the top of the list of those screaming and suing because of a lack of preparation and training if an actual violent incident occurred and you and/or family members were the victims? Hats off to Homeland Security for staying ahead of the curve.

I see nothing wrong with a drill like what was held at Leesburg Social Security Office. Checking on the contract guards is a good idea.

I don't know if you have ever been to a Social Security office but I sure would be hesitant to go to one if I knew all or a goodly portion of the clients were armed. You got some scary looking clients at the offices.
