Default Vote for Gingrich in the Primary

I am urging all Republicans to vote for Newt Gingrich in the Florida primary.

He is an amazing man and would add so much to the Republican ticket in the fall of 2012. Having Newt on the ticket would lead to a certain victory.

Never mind reading the linked article. It only contains truthful facts that would confuse your Republican minds.

OK I'll bite!

THe intention of the thread is like political cartoons of old with a Russian General with outstretched hand to Uncle Sam while holding a lit bomb behind his back.

Of course the thread is tongue in cheek....it certainly would not or could not be anything else!

Newt Gingrich will get my vote. I don't care what his second wife says about him.

I said back in the beginning of the primary that Newt would be a great candidate if it was not for all his baggage.
I think if Romney could hire Newt to teach him how to debate using facts we might have a winning horse!
Romney has that soft spoken voice like Reagan had but does not seem to have the "off the cuff" witt that Regan had.
As a whole the group in lack luster which helps Romney shine.

But it is not hard to shine when you are in the middle of a pile of coal!

My vote is for Newt. Forget about gay marriage...he will promote open marriage.

Let's see, a guy who was thrown out of office when he was Speaker for being too liberal; a guy who made over $100 million lobbying to influence legislation for those who paid him to lean on his former friends and colleagues--and then denied that's why he took the money; a guy who got paid lots of money by Freddie and Fannie to influence legislation in their favor while at the same time he made speeches criticizing them; a guy who told his wife that he intended to have an open marriage and that she could do what she wanted about it; and the guy that the Obama campaign would most like to run against.

Geez, are we guaranteeing the POTUS a second term?

According to the democrats and lefties, a man's personal life is his business and doesn't matter when it comes to being President. Oh wait, that only applied to Bill Clinton... or any other liberal. What a bunch of disengenious hypocrites we have out there.

please let us not be impressed with a good talker/debater. Too many did that in 2008!!

A man is what he is and the past is his only report card. And while some can change they are still what they are. You can rearrange the spots on a leopard but when you get done you still have a leopard.

And most of us are all old enough and wise enough to know that if it is a politician that is claiming to be something different...it is words ONLY to hook your vote.

Go back and look at what the man has done and accomplished. That is the only way to gauge who or what he really was and is! Just look at Obama....he turned out to be exactly what his past life's works pointed him to be. No surprises there.

I couldn't disagree more. People change all the time. Many have turned away from their past, repent and begin anew never to repeat their wrong turns. Really, that concept if foreign to you? Once a bad egg always a bad egg?

Please do not forget about Newt being thrown out by his own party as Speaker of the House and fined $300,000 for ethics violations.

Yes, vote for this idiot in the Primary, get him on the ticket in November, and yes, we will celebrate another Obama victory.

Yes, BTK, this thread was started in satire. Surprised it took you so long to see the satire. Or did your grandchild hijack the computer again?

definition first to be sure it is not mis-interprted:
bite me:
a phrase used in scorn, usually used after someone either a) insults you, or b) tries to tell you what to do

I could respond with an equally insulting comment but have a hard time operating at that level so the following is most appropriate for the insult:

bite me!!!

Indeed. Let's see how many more Obama can get on food stamps. Maybe by the end of his second term gas will be six bucks gallon and we'll be 20 or 30 trillion in debt.

Certainly cause for celebration... for some.
