Default Vote Counting

New winner in Iowa, twos weeks after all the votes are counted. Just goes to show it does not matter who votes, all that matters is who is counting the votes.

It shows that Iowa Republicans can't count better than Floridians.

Now Iowa says they'll never know who the winner was. Why do they get to go first again?

Cool

What amazes me, is that in an era of computerization, where I can pay my bills, file my tax return and buy/sell stocks, I'm not able to vote online.

I can vote for American Idol; why not a politician ????

Our system of voting needs to a huge overhaul!

Just my opinion . . .

I agree but how on earth would you be able to show a picture voter ID card as the Repubs are so determined we need to do? We should get to computerized voting but the Repubs may want to go back to paper ballots and hand counting.

Thumbs down

Florida republicans are very big on mail-in voting, but there's absolutely no voter ID required when you vote by mail. Think about who's more likely to vote by mail, not poor people, not students, not homeless people.

Anyhow, the Virginia Attorney General seems to be another Republican who needs to get his story straight before telling it to the presses.

voter ID...a very simple way to restrict the vote. Land of the free my butt.

I really don't have a problem with voter ID provided you make it possible to get some kind of accepted ID for free. Otherwise, it's a poll tax in sheep's clothing.

Here in NH, all you have to do is show a utility bill with your name on it and you can vote in the primary (registering at the polls on the day of the vote). I'm not fond of that.
