Default How close to The Villages

Does anyone know how far north of TV this happened on I-75, the article just states it was south of Gainesville but not how far south.

It was between Ocala and Gainsville, closer to Ocala. Police were diverting traffic off I-75 at exit 358 onto state rte 326 and then onto 301/441 north of Ocala. I and my wife were on our way home from Micanopy at 4 PM driving on 301/441 and saw the diverted traffic.

Gainesville is about a 45 minute drive from Spanish Springs.

Paynes Prarie is a state park ecosystem preserve. It abuts the southern boundry of Gainesville and extends several miles south from there. Basically the accident happened on I-75 just south of Gainesville and north of the Marion County line between Exits 374 (Micanopy) and 382 (the southern most Gainesville exit).

The Wildwood ramp for I-75 is exit 329 and the accident was north of exit 368. So best guess would be around 40 miles from TV depending upon where in TV one might live.
