Default CPAC.....the liberals fear the truth.

CPAC is a political action committee dedicated to traditional conservative Constitutional values. Why do liberals fear them so much that in another thread it is laden with hateful rhetoric and with sophomoric insults to conservatives?

Is it because the liberals know their message of anti-American values, and their solutions to America's problems have only made the situation worse?

The majority of Americans call themselves conservative. The majority only needs to stand up to turn America back on course to greatness.

Here is a great speech by our terrific young senator from Florida, Marco Rubio, at this years CPAC convention. It's about 25 minutes, but well worth the time.

(Does Dale really imagine Sen. Rubio with a white hood?)

Rubio is the bomb every time he gets in front of a mike. We will see more of him in the coming years.

Here's another example of true conservatism in America. Rick Santorum gave a truly inspirational speech at this years convention. No presidential candidate embodies true conservative principle by consistent word and deed like Rick Santorum.

Rick Santorum has been much maligned, and has been the recipient of much slanderous and hate filled attention by one poster on this forum. If you are inclined to hear the man in his own words, this inspirational speech at this years CPAC convention is a great opportunity.

Katz; here is this years speech by Rep. Allen West, in case you've missed it. He's a great conservative and great American, and as usual, takes no prisoners.

In a another thread when I spoke out in support of Santorum, even as an Independent vote, I was bombarded by those who told me that I had to vote GOP, because it is the only way to get Obama out. I wonder how many will follow their own advice if Santorum IS the candidate for the GOP?

Thanks, RichieLion! I could listen to this guy all day. I watched the 2 hours of the Conservative Black Forum that he presented with Star Parker as the moderator. Check it out if you can. I may have even posted a link to it on this forum somewhere?

He makes me give him a standing ovation of one, in my home office. This is truly a great man, and more importantly, a great American.

Conservtives follow practices that have been essential for survival since the beginning of time. Self reliance, cogent thinking , an ethical imperative to name a few. This does not mean that conservatives will ignore people who truly have needs. But as people who have dealt with intervention understand being an enabler hurts more than it helps.

I believe it was William F Buckley who once explain the difference between a conservative and a liberal in this manner. If a man were drowning a conservative would throw a lifesaver half way out and ask the man to swim to safety. Whereas a liberal would throw a lifesaver out way over the man's head and ask him to swim out further in order to reach safety. Overkill... well kills... A welfare state kills motiviation and hence inititative and eventually will power

Santorum is a great speaker and has wonderful American values on some issues, but he is such a bigot I cann't give him my support.

Rep. Alan West says conservatives believe in helping their fellow man, but do not think that the "safety net" should be used as a "hammock". A great line.

Richielion: Allan West is spot on. Something tells me one of West's idols was Thomas Sowell.

Or, even better, he could be our first African American President!
