Love STAR PARKER!! I have read her book-Uncle Sam's Plantation, hubby and adult children have read it. It has now been passed around to friends and extended family members. I have also posted her website numerous times on the forum with various articles by her. I have never had a response from any of the libs here, they don't seem to want touch her stuff with a ten foot pole. What's up with that?!

Is this the same Parker who ran for Congress, was endorsed by Palin and Gingrich - and won LESS than 25% of the vote?

Could be that Dems hold Parker with the same esteem they hold Palin and Gingrich. They also hold her opinions in the same esteem - or lack thereof.

I think it is because she happens to be an African American! If she is in the same category as Palin and Gingrich, then why isn't she afforded the same constant ridicule on this forum as they have been given? Could it be fear of being called racists?! ... or is she also an Uncle Tom, and therefore not worthy of any comment? Anyway, she brought herself up out of poverty and, along with a great number of other conservative African Americans, is working to help other minorities get free of the government teat!

To liberals she's not an "authentic" African-American woman because she's not Democrat and raging; but instead, striving and achieving.

Liberals discount conservative African-Americans and instead vilify them, as they did with the photos of Condi Rice as Bush's "Aunt Jemima" that elicited no moral outrage from them.

Do ya think?! Oh, talk about looking in a mirror...that is one thing a liberal cannot handle. I can't blame them, it would absolutely kill them if they saw themselves as they really are.

I certainly would count Oprah Winfrey as striving and achieving. She also is a Democrat.

Personally, I thought Condi Rice was an excellent Secretary of State and she would make a very good Presidential or VP candidate for the Republicans.

LOL - I absolutely, positively, 100% knew that sooner or later some Con would say it's because she's black. Cons seem to always use race as a crux to explain away something - and you certainly did not let us down.

Could it be because she is much LESS known than high profile Cons like Palin and Gingrich? Or must it be because she is black?
