Après avoir lu ces messages je me suis senti comme si j'étais assis à une terrasse de café à Paris bénéficiant d'une crêpes au poulet et un verre de vin rouge... puis je me suis réveillé!

Wow, I better get out my French dictionary. It has been awhile.

I have never been to the cafés of Paris... you lucky dog you. And with chicken pancakes and red wine! I can dream on. Do not need to wake me up.

In your dreams... and mine!

I'll save you from your French dictionary. Here's the translation: "After reading these posts I felt like I was sitting at a sidewalk cafe in Paris enjoying pancakes with chicken and a glass of red wine ... then I woke up!"

OK. Did not catch the past conditional tense if that is the tense you used?

I won an award back around 1980 for the Best Reader of French at the University of Nevada, Reno. The French counsel from San Francisco even gave me a very nice French dictionary.

I have not used my French though in quite a while. They would also probably run me out of Paris if I tried speaking it from how protective many French are about getting just the right pronunciation.

My chihuahua/terrier does not care if I talk to him in French with a bad accent nor Spanish with a bad accent... nor even English with a midwestern accent.

Doubt if he likes Taco Bell though.
