Default St Augustine?

Anyone ever been to St Augustine? Thinking about heading there for a few days...maybe a haunted pub crawl. Looks like a fun place. Any recomendations for lodging on a budget?

We stayed at the Quality Inn near the outlet mall in January for $54 a night. Senior rate online at choice hotels website. Get the tickets for the trolley online at St. Augustine website, at a discount (good for 2 days) - take the full tour, then get off and on at any of the stops. Spend some time at the fort and in the old downtown area - the fort is the best part of the city IMO. St Augustine beach is very nice, and while there eat at Coquina Beach Surf Club - the Nitin fried shrimp is to die for. We also went to the world golf hall of fame, which is cool if you are into the history of golf. Have fun, it is a great place to spend a few days.

It is a nice place to visit. Ditto on the trolley tour. Well worth it for historical and cultural information. The winery there is affiliated with Lakeridge. There is also a fishing pier just out of town past the lighthouse. Enjoy!!

Just spent several days there. Great place. We stayed at the Old Powderhouse B&B. They have an ad in the Sunday Sun travel section. Great breakfast and rooms. Parked the car for 3 days and had a good time.
