Don't forget that Mittens will be challenged with statements he made like his wife drives two Cadillacs and that he has lots of friends who are NASCAR team owners. That does not make him one of the common folk.

It would be much to the Democrat's relief if Sanitarium did get the Dumpublican candidacy. President Obama can win over either of these Dumpublicans, but it would be an easier win over Sanitarium.

Why hasn't The Newt just crawled back under his slime covered rock yet? I think he is probably enjoying living the high life with all the campaign contributions. If he quits, the high life would stop when he would have to start paying with his own money instead of the Dumpublican dupes that contributed to his campaign.

Red face

It seems to me that Ohio will be the big prize in Tuesday's primaries, and Rick Santorum is leading Mitt Romney in the latest poll that I saw. Rick may have a slight advantage since he is from neighboring PA. Of course, Romney will win VA since Romney and Paul are the only two on the ballot. It's still going to be a long, tough slog for whoever the nominee will be.

I heard yesterday that Newt may drop out if he loses his home state, GA. How embarrassing would that be? It almost happened to Mitt in MI.

some continue to want to believe that driving a Cadillac is a distinction of any sort. Once upon a time maybe....a long time ago.

ANYBODY can buy a Cadillac.....owning two Cadillacs means no more than he owns two cars made by GM....which by the way was his intended message before the spinning.

Agree. Putting an overzealous Christian in the White House scares me more than the Muslims. Christianity does more good than any other large group in the world, but no religious nut case like Santorum should be in any political office and god forbid, putting that nut in the WH.

Anybody can own a Cadillac? Correct me if I am mistaken but doesn't a Cadillac cost around $40,000?

You can buy other cars for as little as $16,000 so I think a Cadillac is still a status symbol.

You can take it to the bank that the Romney's Cadillacs were $50,000+ and likely more.

there is nothing significant or outstanding in the pricing of a Cadillac at $40000 or $50000 when almost every other full sized svu costs as much or more.

Spending 40-50000 on a vehicle is no longer a status symbol....just proof the banks make it easier to finance more and more for longer and longer.

Real status symbols today are in the $100000 category which there are quite a few of here in TV.

Not so. Normal folks buy new cars from between 18 and 28,000 dollars. 40 to 50K is in the BMW, Mercedes range; hence, status symbols. Those of us living in The Villages might consider 50K for a car average, but remember, just living in The Villages is a status symbol.

This name calling is, of course, Saul Alinsky 101. I must admit that you tempt me, but I just cannot go there.
