Does anyone have information about the National Auto Clearinghouse, and Car Factory Outlet. We received a "scratch" card from this company, and instructions to go to the dealership on Rt 441. It appears I've won a cash reward. Don't want to waste my time if this is a scam. Appreciate your input. Sandra

That type of thing - the scratch-off dealie-o - is usually just a method to get you interested enough to come to the dealership so they can try to sell you a car. Read the fine print - it's highly likely that you actually haven't won/won't win a prize of any sort.

This is a scam. Everyone who received it "won" the right to call that number to listen to a sales pitch.

look closely at the wording...if you get 3 in a row you win...the differing numbers would lead one to believe that is what you win...it is not...THREE IN A ROW AND YOU WIN...it does not say what.
More than likely you win an opportunity to use the key that was sent which will open to nothing. It is designed to get you into their lair....nothing more. The ad piece, in my opinion is borderline illegal. btk |

LOTS of that kind of thing going around. We once got a mailer that said if we called a # and came to their address (maybe to listen to their hype) we'd win a free laptop. Yeah, right!! Threw it in the trash!
Another scam is come to our presentation and win 2 FREE airline tickets to anywhere in U.S. Well that too proved to be bogus. |
