Default Landscaping and new home warrenty.

I bought a new villa in Dec 2012 and my lot was already landscaped. I want to plant a palm tree in the front of my house and move a holly bush to the back of my house and maybe add some more plants. I was wondering if I did the landscaping I have outlined will I be in violation of my new home warrenty which is on everything for the first 2 years with minor exceptions. Does anyone know???

Don't know if I'm totally correct or not but the warranty is only for 1 year (everything except landscaping). I purchased in Mission Hills in Dec and had the landscaper who installed the landscaping out to check on a few items (the freeze) and he said the landscaping warranty is only for 30 days. You might want to look into it.

the basic landscaping is pretty minimal.
We do a lot of our own landscaping, and I'd say.. just do it.

Only if making major modications do you need ARC approval.
and the warranty on landscaping is likely more trouble than it's worth,
truth be told.

Yep 30 days. We closed by mail May 30th I came down June 25 and half of the bushes were dead. They replaced them but warned me that the warrenty for landscape was only until June 30.
