Default Poll~Conservative's war on women...

Curious to know how many of the women on this forum truly believe that the conservative/political right is waging a war on women?

Republican legislatures introduced 1100 bills in 2011 pertaining to women's health and are on record to surpass that number in 2012.

Republican House Members voted 98% against the "Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009".

The Blunt-Rubio Amendment, which was voted down by the senate, would have given employers the right to decide what coverage women received according to their personal beliefs.

I could go on for hours talking about all the state-mandated transvaginal probe laws, So count me as a yes vote.

I see that 100% of your respondents believe that the conservative/political right is waging a war on women. That must be why President Obama is leading Governor Romney by 18 points in the latest polls among women.

Good point. Must be the other three Conservative women on this board are guarding the front-lines. ... or maybe they are defecting.

It would be a waste of time to outline why the so call "conservative War On women" is a myth but even with such evidence (See Has the Sexual Revolution Been Good for Women? WSJ C-1-2) there is such a pre-conceived opinion that it wouldn't matter. But even if you applied mathemtaical principles one would know that issues such as this fall within the bell curve more or less. Stated another way America is a center right of center culture.
