Default Driving from TV to Jacksonville airport

Mapquest directs us to drive to the airport via 301, but it looks more direct to take 75 to 10, then to I 95? Anyone out there taken this route to Jacksonville airport?

Have done both. 301 more direct but careful in small towns as they are speed traps. Last Sat. 75 was moving so slow I changed to 301. 75 - 10 do not have to worry with lights and speed traps.

The I-75 to I-10 route will be more miles and probably not as quick.

Depending on where you're heading out from in TV (if you're pretty close to I-75 already), taking I-75 NB to just north of Ocala and then cutting over to 301 via 326 the route we usually take to get over to I-95 NB.

Default Speed traps

As the previous gentleman mentioned, be very cautious NOT to go over the speed limit on 301, especially in and around Starke. I have had many friends get tickets going through there. When it says 25, don't go 26. Good luck!

It's about 44 miles shorter taking 301 and about 20 minutes shorter in time staying at the speed limit. Save on gas, time and get to see a little bit of FL besides trucks and billboards.

I agree!! Starke, Waldo, and Lawley are speed trap towns and you have to adhere to the speed limits. If you happen to drive an out-of-state car, be extra careful!!!

Go to 75 North to exit 358. Turn right off the exit and go about 2 miles to 301. Take 301 North to I 10 East to I 295 North to Jacksonville AP. Shortest and fastest way. Avoids most lights and traffic. And as others have said, drive exactly at the speed limit on 301, not even 1 mile an hour over.

I would stay away from 75 NEXT week due to heavy traffic volume all heading north. It is a yearly ritual.

We take 466a west to 301 then south to 44 - west on 44 to I-75.

Which is exit 329.
I-75 was really bad last Saturday. I was coming up from Sarasota and for over an hour north of Tampa I could not get above 50 mph and mostly either stopped or 20-30 mph. No wrecks, just lots of traffic. Oh yeah, then the blinding rainstorm.
