Default Deep Sea Fishing

Steve and I will be down for a week starting th 20th. Can anyone recommend a deep sea fishing boat (not a charter..just a party boat). I know we can go out of St. Johns Pass but that seems like quite a distance. Any ideas?

Hi Trish
Drop the St. It's just John's Pass. You might find a good trip at Crystal River Fishing Charters & Homosassa Fishing Charters in beautiful Citrus County, Florida

The half day small boat rates are good.

Tarpon Springs has two head boats. Should be about 90 minutes or less to get there.

Thanks for all the great ideas (I knew I could count on TOTV!) Btw Posh...that's funny because we always vacationed in Madiera Beach and spent countless hours at what we always called John's Pass. For some reason, I thought I heard it referred to as ST. Johns Pass...and I didn't want to sound like a tourist .

There's deep sea fishing boats that go out of the Clearwater Beach Marina, too. Not as far south as John's Pass or even Madera Beach. Used to live on Sand Key, so I do know that area.

It's fine, wasn't trying to be anything other than a heads up Trish. Have fun.
