Default New Camera

Dear hubby got me a new "point and click" Cannon Power Shot camera. After the lovely rain, I just had to go out and sample my new toy.

Default A beautiful sunset ...

And one I captured overlooking the golf course behind Colony Rec Center right before the thunderstorm on Friday evening.

Very nice! I just got a new Nikon and am anxious to try it, also. I like sports shots so will be heading to a polo match soon.

Sandra. I adore your artists eye with the camera. If only we could figure how to transfer them into giclee prints so more of us could enjoy them on a daily basis.

All three shots are incredible. I stand in awe of your talent. Please keep on sharing.

Default Thank you

I appreciate your kind comments very much. I have only in the last few years discovered the joy of photography, and am quite happy with my "point n click" camera The winners of the Daily Sun photography competitiion presented fabulous shots, and I am thrilled to report I received 4 Honorable Mentions.. I too was fascinated with the tremendous thunderstorm clouds, and although I got wet, the resulting pix have "ambience" LOL

I got a Nikon D90 last year. Been too busy to use it much so far. Retiring at the end of June. Plan to use it a lot very soon!
