Default Example of the TSA's professional diligence.

The TSA in another of it's more outrageous deeds, decided that a 4 year old girl who innocently hugged her grandmother was now at the top of the terrorist watch list and threatened to shut the whole airport down if the frightened and hysterical child would not cooperate in a pat down, all why refusing her mother's requests to try to explain the situation to the little girl.

So the TSA agent with a glowering face is yelling at this little girl and expects.........what???

Read this story and tell me how great these clowns in blue are.

Experts in risk assessment they are not.

Even the former head of the TSA knows how bad it is:

I hope you are right, but finding examples of the government admitting mistakes and doing away with the workforce implementing those mistaken programs is a near impossible task. The TSA and its screeners will be with us for a long time to come.

You don't necessarily need to get rid of the screeners - you need to re-train them (and fire the ones that can't handle a job that requires actual THINKING).

Your friend the government. Let's make it even larger, more centralized and more powerful shall we?

Exactly right. Never ceases to amaze me.....1960's hippies whose mantra was "Anti-Establishment" are now The Democrat Establishment and Big Government, and they can't get enough of it.

We're not talking about airport security, we're talking about the TSA.

Your observation is the conundrum of our day. The hippies have become "the establishment". The anti-government anarchists are now the big government bullies. Amazing turnabout.

It is about Airport Security. There is none with the current TSA. Checking people as they enter the gates is NOT security. What about all the people in the terminals before they go thru security. I will not fly, never, until passengers are checked before entering the terminal and the checkers have passed a background investigation and have at least a High School education or a GED. Stupid is, as Stupid does.
