Lightbulb Looking for Dog Groomer

I was told there was some good pet groomers in The Villages that will come to your house and that it only cost about 35 dollars. One person said the name Connie. Anyone know her, or someone that is good?

Default Waggin Wheels Mobile Pet Groomer

We use Waggin Wheels mobile pet groomer. She is a Village resident and does a great job. I love that she is always on time! Her prices are fair.

Auntie Jane's Mobile Dog Wash
817-9728. Very reliable. You have to make appointments in advance.

We had used Jane and I had a temporary loss of sanity (my vet groomed them for $20 each) and I have gone back to Auntie Jane as she is compassionate and caring. She obviously LOVES her clients and does the best job. We now have 2 dogs (1 crazy puppy) and I look forward to her taking care of them again.
She is WONDERFUL.

Lisa I can't recommend anyone as the groomer I used has retired but I just had to comment on your beautiful puppy, he/she is adorable.

I'm also looking for a new groomer for our two dogs, 10 lbs and 65 lbs. Mobile would be great, but a lot of them are booked for six months out.

Auntie Jane isn't currently taking any bookings. She told me to call back in 2013. She said that after she rebooks her regular customers for 2013, she may consider new customers if she has any time available.

I took my Havanese to Bone Crazy on 466A in Wildwood. I was very happy with the clip they did and they didn't keep him longer than they needed to. They really listened to what I wanted and I'm pretty particular! Good luck. Your baby is beautiful!

Don't use The Village Groomer in La Plaza Grande shopping center. We took our ShihTzu there for a year and in the last 3 months they cut off his nipples while grooming his belly and his last grooming he was injured by the staff and had spinal nerve damage and compressed vertebrae. In 3 weeks we had to have him put down because he couldn't walk eat etc. We took him to Gainsville to the vet college but they wanted over $3800 dollars for testing and surgery.

I'm outraged that this could happen. I'm so sorry.

How completely awful!!! Thanks so much for this post as I was thinking about
taking our 2 dogs to this establishment. How could they possibly hurt your dog
so badly to cause this kind of damage?

We are trying Dan at Buffalo Ridge as he seems to have so many good references
on this site.

I am so sorry for your loss.

TD

I too need a good groomer. Have 2 Yorkies. One gets clipped, the other a "rough coat" just gets washed and his "privates" LOL- clipped. Took them to Petsmart twice. First time was so, so. Went yesterday, again, and my female looked awful! They butchered the top of her head. I had such a wonderful groomer for 16 years, we really got spoiled. Will try the others mentioned here.

My 9 year old standard poodle was just groomed at Lady Lake Professional Grooming and received the best cut he has ever had. Rates are in line with others around, but quality far exceeded others. Also they finished him in record time and he didn't have to spend the day at the groomers. Can't speak highly enough of them.

Barefoot...
I am new to the area and used Roxie's Mobile Pet Grooming (352)223-6444 on Tuesday of this week. Booked the appointment only a few days earlier. I have a 12 lb, 8-yr old Yorkie and the cost was $53.

Although this is more than I normally pay at a walk-in groomer, the stress on my pup was minimal. I walked him to the van and the groomer (named Eugenia) brought him back into the house afterwards. Took about 1 hr 10 mins. They plugged into my electric outlet on the porch for power. Hope that helps.
