Thumbs up New BBQ place

Tried Texas Stockyard today ( Rt. 441). They didn't have their grand opening yet so still had some wrinkles to work out. We had pulled pork with two sides ( $8.99)
The pork comes dry with BBQ sauce on the side. Very moist and tasty even without the sauce. Their BBQ sauce is very good and not overpowering. I have to give a special mention on their " twice backed potato". It's more like a potato casserole with cheese and bacon and it was delicious!! Their other restaurant is in Texas and I didn't inquire as how they ended up in Fl. It's a little different than Oakwood and Sonny's, we like them also, but nice to have a new BBQ place where the food is somewhat unique. Two more weeks and they should be fully up to speed. We'll be back.

There also appears to be a new BBQ place under construction on 466A just east of Colony Plaza on the north side just before you get to Micro Racetrack Rd. Don''t have any idea when it will open. We'll have to check out the one on 441 though.

If you're looking to plug an address into a GPS:

Texas Stockyards BBQ

My wife just asked a little while ago where I want to go for dinner and I said I want to try this new place. Thanks for directions.
