Question Bombing Florida?

Does anyone know if the navy was bombing FL today? While playing golf today we heard some rumbling that some thought was thunder. I thought it sounded more like bombs.

There was a notice in the Daily Sun last week, do not remember what day, stating the days and times of bombing activity for the coming week.

I saw the notice in the Daily Sun about Military Bombing in the Ocala Forest and the schedule. Apparently it happens fairly regularly.

In the article I'm providing a link to, they state that there are a few hundred live bombs out of about 20,000 total year dropped at the Pinecastle Range. At that volume, the droppings I would imagine could be fairly frequent!

Pinecastle Impact Range

yep...there was an article saying they would be this week. Also had a link to report noise issues. Of course we wouldn't hear it over the banging and hammering going on around here. Just another day.

Here's another thought...could it be one of our neighboring states to the north looking to sink Florida so they can have more coastline??
