Default Fox on Markridge Loop again

For the 2nd time in the past 5 days I saw a red fox in Pennecamp on Markridge Loop at approx 6:30 am. This time I suspected the fox had returned because my garbage was strewn all over my lawn and driveway. After I cleaned up the mess, I went into the house and looked out the sliders and immediately saw the red fox about 10 yards behind my house eating something. He/she was under attack by the mocking birds but was unphased until I opened the sliders and stepped out on the lanai to get a better look. He immediately saw me and trotted in the opposite direction. I have to put the garbage out the night before because they often pick up very early, but I recall someone saying to spray the bags with bleach or amonia to discourage the wild animals. I should have done it last night because the fox apparently loves Publix original roasted chicken. He cleaned the bones but not the mess.

There is a family of red fox behid 2111 Markridge Loop across the golf course where there is a rock outcropping, they have their den. The neighbors have been watching 2 young "kits" frolicking every evening while mom and now dad, watch over them from on top of the rocks. Nature......a beautiful thing. Bosox.....love the pix of the colt over behind Amelia.

NO please do not put food out. Feeding wildlife is just another way of killing wildlife. They will find their own food without becoming dependent on humans. When you take it upon yourself to feed them they will lose their fear of people but people will not lose their fear of animals and have them destroyed.
