I noticed that the squeaky wheel gets the grease...Contacted local Championship course Pro because our exec. course "Par 4's" fairway??? are close to being cement and they were watering today, Yea!....I know the Villages is limited on watering during this "drought" but the par 4 second shot is difficult at best...Could you all be so kind and contact your local golf pro and ask him to "at the very least" water the fairways on the Par 4's....I also think the Championship courses should adopt the "NO CART" philosophy that all execs have, if for no other reason than the Par 3's on the execs. are fairing much better than the Championship courses...One more thing, I know there are legitimate Villagers that need handicap tags and others have handicaps that are not obvious but it would be GREAT if those that are within an inch of the green with their carts would reconsider driving soooo close to green...Not sure what the ruling is on this but I sometimes wonder about some of the tags that are distributed...IMHO

Carts are to stay 15 feet from the green and NOT go between a trap and the green for those with a reasonable accomodation tag. Noticed some have difficulty with their measure of 15 feet. It's all in the good golf guide and posted (or should be) at starter shacks.

Championship are doing alternate days odd or even holes rough only.

I'm curious. When a person obtains a reasonable accomodation tag, is there an expiration date for period of use? A few months ago we golfed with a man who was using a tag because of foot surgery - however, he told us that he had completed his rehab and was back to normal. He continued to use the reasonable accomodation tag just because he could. Unfortunate that he didn't consider the extra wear-n-tear on the golf course. How easy is it to obtain a tag - are people asked for proof of 'need' - just want to educate myself on the process.

Personally - I like to walk when I can - Great exercise!!!!

I'm with you.....I actually play better without distraction and like you say, GREAT exercise....I'm not sure but I think I hijacked my own thread...Really would love to have the handicap tag questions studied more also
